All open source packages can be found on github nowadays. We provide:

VOSM

– short for Vision Open Statistical Models. It’s coded in C++ and can be downloaded from Github. VOSM:

  1. builds shape model, texture model, and appearance model for both 2D and 3D non-rigid body objects
  2. provides both the original ASM fitting algorithm and the originated 2D profile ASM fitting algorithm (demonstrated twice as fast as the original ASM fitting algorithm). Here, our originated 2D profile ASM fitting algorithm utilizes information from 2 profiles, instead of a 2D sub-image, which makes our algorithm distinct from the 2D profile ASM proposed by Stephen Milborrow. You are welcome to have a look at the performance of our proposed 2D profile ASM via Youtube.
  3. also provides both the basic AAM fitting algorithm and Inverse Compositional Image Alignment AAM fitting algorithm
